Almost there...

As opening day rapidly approaches we've been out on site making sure that all of the allocated plots are marked up and ready to grow...

A big thank you to the Notice Board Company, for their very kind donation of an external vandal proof notice board (pictured above) and various other accessories. Thanks also to Hammerwich Parish Council, Burntwood Town Council, Lichfield District Council and Brownhills Bob.

Get set, Grow!

Potholders are welcome to move on from 1st March 2023, however please bear in mind the following;

  1. Please be courteous of our neighbours! Park responsibly if accessing the site by foot and keep noise to a minimum, particularly in the evenings and mornings.

  2. The access road to site is a SSSI. Please ensure you do not damage the surrounding habitat or ecology.

  3. Fencing and structures on site should be timber only.

  4. Internal paths and footways should be bark or woodchip only.

  5. Please do not bring any waste or rubbish onto site.

  6. Be courteous to neighbouring Plotholders and users of the Community Gardens.

  7. Fires and barbeques should be a safe distance from boundaries and supervised at all times.

If you have already been allocated a garden plot, received your license and paid the annual fee there's nothing more you need to do. If not, you are now more than welcome to pop down to site and reserve any of the remaining plots. You can contact us at wharfside@triviumland.co.uk for a copy of the license agreement and payment details.

Ongoing works

Although the majority of plots will be ready on the 1st of March, there are a small number that still require clearing. Our contractors will be returning over the coming months to remove the remaining timber from site and carry out some other work. Please take extreme care around any forestry or construction works on site.

Free trees

We've reinstated the original field boundaries onsite, planting over 1000 native hedgerow saplings and specimen trees. It appears however, that we have over-ordered. Plotholders and visitors are more than welcome to pop down to site and help themselves to the remaining trees. All we ask is that you plant them off site and not on your garden plot. Donations to the Committee are welcome (but not required) and can be placed in the lock box on the rear of the fence.

Extra plots available...

Due to exceptional demand, we have made more plots available on site. So if you missed out on a plot or know someone who wanted one, applications are once again open!

If you have any questions or need to get in touch, you can contact us at wharfside@triviumland.co.uk
